Do it safely
A tattoo is a procedure that pierces the skin, so hygiene is non-negotiable. At Púrpura we always work with sterile equipment, new disposable needles and a clean, professional studio. Do not get tattooed on the beach or by someone improvised: your health and the result depend on it.
Watch the sun and the alcohol
You are on vacation, we get it, but there are two golden rules: do not show up hungover or drunk to your session (alcohol thins the blood) and no sun or ocean on a fresh tattoo. It is best to get tattooed early in your trip, or save your beach days for before the session.
Plan for healing on the way home
Your tattoo will keep healing once you get back home. Take the aftercare instructions, a good ointment, and avoid exposing it on the plane or at another beach. With basic care, it will heal perfectly.
